German Design Award voor In Vredesnaam!

Geweldig! Het ontwerp van de tentoonstelling 'In Vredesnaam' over De Vrede van Utrecht (1713) heeft afgelopen maand een German Design Award (Special mention) ontvangen. Deze tentoonstelling was in 2013 te zien in Centraal Museum Utrecht.

"Three hundred years after the Treaty of Utrecht, the Centraal Museum Utrecht opened its must-see jubilee exhibition that manages to make complicated connections in history accessible to a wide audience with exciting exhibits, interesting text and clear graphics. Wall-filling cards that are reduced to the essentials emphasise the borders with high contrast and make it easy to geographically place the historical events. The carefully designed and didactically outstanding implementation of the exhibit allow the visitor to not only experience history up close, but also makes the urgency of peace clear through the created awareness of time and space."
